Halloween has gone but there are still vampires lurking...

A local council is encouraging households to switch off the appliances which are slowly sucking energy from homes even when not in use because they are left plugged in or on standby.

The 'Slay your Energy Vampires' campaign appears in a magazine circulated in Hertfordshire and forms part of 'green our herts' and also applies to out of hours usage in offices and commercial properties.

The costs to an average household can be an extra £50 to £80 on energy bills each year (verified by the Energy Saving Trust).

So, Slay your Energy Vampires - unplug or turn devices off at the wall when not in use - or contact Carbon Energy to see how we can help!
